Weld Your Mettle
How it works
- Run the 4 mile out and back to reach your chosen distance
- Taking as many breaks as you'd like between loops to eat, enjoy the recovery barn, rest, cold plunge, sauna, etc.
- You may exit the course anywhere to access your crew, as long as you re-enter the course at the exact location
- Crew will be able to set up near both the start/finish line and turnaround point (as they are very close to one another), meaning you technically have access to crew every 2 miles
Crew and Pacers
- Each runner is allowed to have 6 crew members and 1 pacer at a time. Solo runners completing over 14 miles are allowed pacers.
- Pacers MUST check in at the registration tent to sign a waiver and receive a Pacer bib
- Pacers may join in at the halfway point
- Pacers, crew and spectators may enjoy the free camping, purchase a Glamping Yurt experience, and purchase a meal ticket anytime over the weekend
- Crews and runners are allowed to bring their own food, drinks, etc, however we will have a fully stocked Aid Station and food barn going all weekend for runners and those who purchase food tickets and/or the glamping experience
- All events are chip timed. Please pay attention to signage and instructions on race day to ensure each lap is counted
Awards
- Ultra Belt Buckles will be awarded to anyone over the Ultra Distance
- Top Finisher Prizes (custom mugs and gift cards) for 1-3, male and female overall for each event
- Finisher Medals given to all who complete their distance in the timeframe given
Relays
Each relay member will take turns running the 4 mile out and back "loop" following each other in order, for the duration of the event they signed up for. Teams are allowed to take breaks between loops to rest, eat, use the restrooms, sauna, cold plunge, etc. or you can keep running consistently.
Each team member has access to the full service food, beverage and aid station through the duration of the event registered for.
Awards
- Gift cards and swag basket given to top finisher teams overall
- Finisher medals for all teams
How to register a relay team
The first team member to sign up will create the team name and choose an optional password during registration. Subsequent team members will simply "join an existing team" and find the corresponding team name. Each team member will register, sign a waiver and pay individually. Teams have until race day to add or remove team members.
Relay Team Structure
Relay Teams MUST consist of at least 2 participants. If an individual registers for a Relay Team but does not meet the minimum requirement, they will be upgraded to the Solo Race and pay additional fees before the race begins. There may be no more than one member from each team on the course at once.
50k Relay Team: 2-9 runners
50 Mile Relay Team: 2-12 runners
100 Mile Relay Team: 2-12 runners
