Rucking is a workout that involves walking while carrying a weighted rucksack/backpack. Sometimes referred to as ‘foot marching‘, Rucking is a workout that improves your cardiovascular system and strengthens your muscles. The minimum carry weight is 35lbs.
We will have one Aid Station with water and limited fuel at the turnaround point. Restrooms are available at the start/finish.
‘Ruckers,’ as its proponents are known, place a free weight in a rucksack and carry it as they walk outdoors. You can use almost anything to increase resistance, from gym plates to water bottles, books or any heavy items you might find around the home.

A post-race celebration with one free Peculier beer will be held at the finish line, along with food trucks, free finisher food & coffee. Another after party with live music and awards will be held at Peculier Ales in the evening.
